Snowflake Kisses

Oh my, it's already the first of November and the year is swiftly coming to a close. This is one of my favorite times of the year because we're getting ready for the holidays. For the sixth year in a row Beccy of Beccy's Place is having a month-long challenge to help everyone get their Christmas cards ready to go. I love to participate in this challenge. She uses the alphabet for most of her prompts so it's easy to follow. So my card today is for the letter A in Beccy's challenge.

My snow angel (my first A) is from Beccy's Snow Angel stamp set. I colored the angel with alcohol markers (my second A). The designer paper is from my stash. I backed it with a bright green paper and the base is kraft card stock. The image is die cut with MFT Stitched Circles and the sentiment is die cit with MFT Stitched Ovals. The sentiment is from When the Scrap Hits the Fun. The gold bad is AlteNew Gold Glitter Tape (no glitter mess; I love it!) and I used gold glitter glue in the halo too

Here's another view and you can see that I made it an aperture card (my third A).
I am entering these challenges:

So I hope to do this challenge this month is honor of my grandson Arthur. He turned three with his twin sister in October. Arthur has known the entire alphabet for many months now. He's a really smart little boy. He will bring you a pen and paper or his little Etch-a-Sketch tablet and say' "Draw A." And he continues through the entire alphabet. And he knows multiple words for every letter. C has never been for "cat". C is for "cauliflower" (in a three-year-old voice). He knows some pretty big words for a three year old. So I'm going to try to keep up with this challenge in Arthur's honor this month. Thanks to Beccy for all the fun (an getting me to finish my Christmas cards!) Have a super day!

Only a child could come up with Cauliflower for the letter
C. I love his thinking. Brilliant card for the letter A. Hugs Mrs A.

It sounds like Arthur is well ahead of his age Donna, what a smart little cookie! It's sweet of you to dedicate the challenge to him.
Your Christmas card is fabulous! Perfect choice of colours for a festive creation... love the snowflake background paper and the gorgeous sparkly glitter tape. No mess glitter is my kind of glitter too Donna.
Cheers,
Beccy

Go Arthur! That's great! They grow and learn so fast.
Your card is adorable! The snowman angel is precious and I love that it is framed by the snowflake print!
I just want to share a cute story with you. Ruby is in Pre-K now. I was talking with her on the phone and I asked her how school was and she said " I got married". I said you I hope it was a nice wedding and she said " oh, no wedding and no rings". My daughter Amy said well how was there a wedding then? Ruby replied " I called (little boy's name) honey!
Hugs,
Pam

Great christmas card Donna. I'm pleased he has C for Cauliflower - a lot his age it would be chocolate! Thank you for joining in at CHNC Anything Christmas Goes with optional twist of Make Your Own Background.

Arthur sounds like quite the bright young one! Cauliflower is not one I would have come up with fully grown =}. You card is darling, the paper is perfect for that chubby little snow angel. Thanks so much for sharing with us at CRAFT Challenge!
