K is for Kings

One card this evening. Still playing catch up with cards. The good news is I mailed my last birthday card for this month. But I have a bunch of birthdays at the beginning of December that I should work on too. So my back log isn't quite caught up yet. Tonight I worked on K for Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards. It was a pretty easy choice for me: Kings!

This is two of Beccy's set merged together. The baby Jesus is from the Lamb of God Digital Stamp Set and the kings are from the Nativity Digital Stamps. I die cut the panel with the frame from MFT Blueprints 13. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday Christ is Born Stamp set. I chose this sentiment because I can imagine the peace that the Kings felt after traveling so far and searching so long for this special baby. I stamped it in Versafine Onyx Black and heat embossed it with Clear embossing powder. The star is from Technique Tuesday Nativity dies. I die cut it four times and glued them together for some dimension. I am entering these challenges:

That's it for me this evening. I have to get ready for volunteering at Opportunity House tomorrow morning. I have some things to price and sort through things my daughter brought a donations. Then I'll need to pack my car. Never a dull moment. Thanks for stopping by and have a blessed day!

It is great when you can merge two images like that isn't it? You did this beautifully and such bright lovely colours for those kings too. Thank you so much for entering our challenge this week at Digi Choosday looking forward to see you again soon.

What a wonderful card Donna. You did a fabulous job merging all the images together to make a pivotal moment in the nativity story. I love the beautiful, bright colours and the wonderful sentiment. It was a clever idea to build up the Star of Bethlehem with lots of layers. It has so much dimension and really draws the eye. Beautiful!
Cheers,
Beccy
