So I have 2 last cards for Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards. I had two more quilt cards on my desk that needed to be embellished. So I decided to make them Christmas thank you cards just to make sure I would have enough of them.
These are the last two cards that I made from scraps and Gina Marie designs Quilt die #3. The scraps were from American Craft papers. The thank you die is from My Favorite Things. And I finished them off with Beccy's Poinsettia from the Poinsettia digital stamp set. In the center of the poinsettia I added Yellow Stickles to give some texture to the flower. I really like the way these turned out. The thank you circles are cut from gold or white glitter paper. Once again thanks to Beccy for loads of fun this November. For taking our minds off Covid and winning some amazing new digital stamps in the process. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I am entering these challenges:
- Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards: any holiday card
- Outlawz Monday Greetings: anything goes
- Pattie's Creations Designs challenge: anything goes
- Crafty Hazelnut Patterned Paper: use patterned paper
- Crafty Hazelnut Christmas challenge: anything goes
That's it for me tonight. Tomorrow we are heading into Cincinnati for 24 hours with Tom's Dad; to visit and do a few jobs that he needs to be done. We won't be gone long. I need to start making cards to give as holiday gifts. Usually they are more "thank you", "birthday", and "thinking of you" cards. There are several people that always look forward to getting a set of cards for Christmas. So that's my next project. Thanks for stopping by tonight. Hope your week is off to an amazing start. Stay safe and God bless!

Beautiful cards Donna. I can't get over how different they look despite the layout being exactly the same. Just shows what a change of colours and papers can do.
Enjoy your time away. I hope you get everything done that you want to.
After a hectic November, I would like to put my feet up for a day or too. But alas, there is always something else that needs doing.
Your thank you cards are fabulous Donna, the colours are gorgeously festive! I know I've said it for the previous couple of cards you've made with similar backgrounds, but I REALLY do love that quilt look! Gorgeous!
I'm pleased to hear you're heading over to see Tom's Dad, it must mean everyone has stayed healthy and well. Great news!
Cheers,
Beccy
I love these quilt cards- love the flower centers and the dies you embellished with. Beautifully done!
