Day 7: F is for Fir Tree

 I didn't expect to be back this soon. We do have the twins today but they aren't here yet. When I got up this morning I saw that Beccy had another race going. At first I thought I'd run downstairs and make another card but I thought I needed to get ready for the twins and if I had time after that I'd make a card and hope for the best. So here is my card for this morning.

The images are from a very old Stampin' Up! stamp set called Lovely as a Tree. One of my all time favorites and I think it was one of the first stamp sets I ever bought. I stamped them with MFT Elf Green ink and then used a brown Spectrum Noir marker to add a little more color. Then I used Recollection Glitz from Michael's to cover the limbs and ground to give it a snowy sparkle. I was hoping you would be able to see it in the photo but not really. It looks great in real life. The sentiment is from Gina K Very Merry Christmas (retired). A pretty easy card since I didn't have a lot of time this morning. I am entering these challenges:
