I am a little bit behind in Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards. I had hoped to stay caught up but I usually have lots of time at the start of the week and not much time on the weekends (really starting on Thursday). Today was my catch up cooking day. I spent the morning cooking dinner for today and then breakfast for the week and finally I finished off with using the rest of the tomatoes from my garden into tomato sauce for tomorrow's dinner. This afternoon, Tom and I volunteered for our neighborhood association cleaning our a neighbor's yard and removing invasive plants. Our neighborhood is trying to remove the invasive species and replace them with native plants. Quite the project. One of the neighbors wrote a grant proposal that passed so Tom and I are running a chipper on Monday to grind up all the plants the neighbors have pulled out over the last few months. I think we have plants to grind at 6 houses. Several are minimal but one of them has the front and backyard stacked with branches and stuff to be ground. At least Monday is supposed to be a nice day. Anyway, back to business. I worked on my "E" card and took the easy way out for this letter.

I love the idea of all the neighbours getting together to improve the neighbourhood Donna, and what a great project! We have many invasive plants here in Australia that seem to be in constant need of control, so I know how difficult the fight can be. Good luck with the chipper on Monday!
Your Easter card is awesome! The bright colours are wonderful and are sure to make someone very happy. I love that the sentiment fits perfectly around the handle on the Easter basket. Great job!
Cheers,
Beccy

What a lovely vibrant Easter card. I like the idea of a community effort to improve the neighbourhood. Sounds like the chipping is going to be keeping you busy but it will be worth it to see a much nicer neighbourhood.
Love your East card, so bright and cheerful. I'd say you've got a start on Easter and I'm haven't yet finished my Christmas cards. Adorable and fun card. Very pretty!!! Thank you for playing alone with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!
Donna I never think to make other holiday cards for Beccy's challenge than Christmas ones so good on you for doing a different one.
I too use older digi images that I have amassed over the years and it is so sad to see the many artists who are no longer about. I love how bright and colourful this is.
Thank you very much for entering your lovely card into our challenge. Good luck with the prize draw.
Stay healthy, happy, keep crafting and Creating Joy :)
