Happy Tuesday! We traveled to Cincinnati today for the family Thanksgiving. It will be a small family get together as a few have dropped out this week. I finished this card right before I left this morning.
My card today features Beccy's Place Lamb of God digital stamps. I used the pre-colored image and a sentiment from the set. I die cut the panel with the A2 size stitched die from MFT Blueprints 13 (retired). I went looking for a stencil to fill the background. I was really looking for something with sunbeams but ran into my Gina Marie Designs fireworks stencil and decided that what better time to shoot fireworks but to announce the newborn King. So I used three yellow colors of distress inks: Wild Honey, Lemonade, and Fossilized Amber, to create the fireworks. I really love this card. I am entering these challenges:
- Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards: Day 16 the letter N (nativity, non-traditional Christmas colors, non-Christmas stencil)
- Simon Says Wednesday challenge: make your own background
- Crafty Hazelnut Christmas challenge: anything goes
- Through the Craft Room Door challenge: anything goes
- Crafty Sentiments Designs challenge: anything goes

Beautiful card. Thanks for joining us at the CHNC Christmas Weekly this week for our Anything Goes, with the option to use some glitter challenge.
Lovely card Donna, the fireworks are fantastic and illustrate the joyful birth of the baby, Jesus. Love the pretty blue base you used, it works well with the image.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, I hope you have a wonderful time in Cincinnati. Safe travels!
Cheers,
Beccy
This is really beautiful. You are right, that fireworks stencil is just perfect to highlight the nativity.
I just love this beautiful Christmas card! I love that you kept it simple and the focus on baby Jesus.
I hope you all have a lovely Thanksgiving and safe travels home.
Sorry I have not commented lately. Super busy!!!! We are buying a house and closing on it next Tuesday and we have been packing like crazy people!
