Spring Flowers

Happy weekend! It seems so odd. I'd usually ask what activities you all have for the weekend but things have changed. We are going to pick up the twins tomorrow and keep them for a few hours so their parents can have a rest. We haven't seen them all week so I'm looking forward to it. There may come a time when we won;t be able to do that so we'll take advantage while we can. I got a chance to make a card this evening and I am really happy with it. Now is the big decision of who to send it to. LOL!

The image is from Eureka Stamps called Tulip and Pansy Frame. I colored the image with Koh-i-noor Woodless Pencils and mineral spirits. I haven't used these in a long time andI thought it would be fun to play with them again. I used Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen on the flowers so they sparkle (not visible in the photo) I fussy cut around the frame.  The designer paper is from my stash (using up some of my scraps). I backed the layers with black card stock to make the colors pop. Since the paper has squares I used pink square gems for the accents. Really like how this turned out. I am entering these challenges:

This morning I made a quick trip to Aldi to pick up a few things. Imagine my surprise when I saw a 1 lb package of strawberries for 25 cents, a lb of asparagus and 3 lbs of mandarin oranges for 49 cents and a package of three color peppers and 3 lbs of sweet potatoes for 99 cents. That was just a few of the produce deals. I was thrilled to stock up on some really cheap produce. The twins will get some great fresh foods tomorrow. I hope you are all well and staying safe and healthy. You all continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

WOW Donna this is such a beautiful and colorful card! Perfect to brighten someones day in these trying tines!
DOUBLE WOW on the the fruit and veggie finds at Aldis!!! I love going there and when we went about a week ago there were some really good buys! My hubby said "I've never seen the fridge so full" I said "oh yes you have Thanksgiving and Christmas"! I think I'm over WalMart for a while, they are packed with people and are out of almost everything I look for!
Don't worry, you'll get your moo back. Ben there done that.
Weather permitting we are going to start work on our garden. I'm also going to make us and family some face masks.
Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my blog! Always appreciated!
Enjoy your visit with the twins. Stay safe!
Hugs,
Pam
