Spring Card Class Day 6

Happy weekend! Nice day today weather-wise for a change. It got a little warmer today and we had sunshine for a change. We took a social distancing walk with friends today. We met up with some friends and walked together 6 feet apart. It was nice to see them again. I did get some time to work on Day 6 today.

Kristina Werner gave us some templates to make backgrounds with. So this one is great for using up designer paper. Or Kristina used water colors to make some papers andthen used the te,plate to make some great cards. 

I used the template to make three card backgrounds. Each of the backgrounds is cut for an A2 size with MFT Blueprints 13 stitched die (retired). This card uses a Bugaboo Stamp called Izzy Flowers Mini Set and is die cut with Spellbinders Standard Circles Large. I colored the flower with Copic markers and added Yellow Stickles to the center of the flower. The backing layers are black card stock and the card base is purple. The designer papers are Basic Grey Wisteria Paper Pad from 2008. Are my paper pads old or what?

You might be better able to see the template in this card. The sentiment is from Eureka Stamps called God Blessed Me die cut with MFT Pierced Fishtail Flag Stax (retired). I wanted to show off the background so I just added a gem sticker from my stash.

My final card uses Simon Says Single Roses die cut and the MFT Miss You die to finish off the card. I have another template to play with for this challenge but I'm going to wait a bit to do that one. I want to go on to Day 7.
