Angels are an important part of Christmas. Many Christmas trees feature angels, attired in flowing gowns. Traditionally, it is the last ornament placed at the very top of the tree. There she sits, resplendent, gazing down in all her glory. The Christmas story is filled with angels bringing messages. As such, the angel deserves that special place of honor during the holiday season. This month, let's bring some of those beautiful angels to your cards!
In order to have a chance to win the prize from our wonderful guest sponsor this month, make sure that your card has an angel featured prominently on it in some form or other (i.e. image, part of the paper, embellishments, etc.). If you do follow the optional theme, be sure to add FT after your name so that we include you in the draw for the prize.
Remember, you don't need to follow the theme to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month, and have your name thrown into the year end draw for some extra digital goodies. You only need to follow the theme if you want a chance to win this month's sponsored prize of a $12.00 gift certificate from A Day For Daisies.
I love angels. I have a special angel in heaven that I think about every day. I like to think that he thinks about me too. Here's my angel card for the challenge using A Day for Daisies Joy Angel.
The Joy Angel is colored with with Spectrum Noir and Copic markers and die cut with Gina Marie Designs Cross Stitch Rectangles. I embellished the image with Diamond Stickles and Spectrum Noir Shimmer pen. The background blue paper is Decosse's Dynamite Doodles Holiday Hoopla Textured Papers and the starred paper is one of the featured papers this month from Angelic Nature. You could win this paper just for entering the challenge. The starred paper is die cut with Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banners. The sentiment is from a retired set from Flourishes called Christmas Music and die cut from MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags.
I hope you'll join us this month at the 12 Month of Christmas Link Up and start or continue your Christmas card collection for 2017. I hope you will check out what the rest of our very talented design team has created with their angels.

I happen to love the angel motif too (right along with my cardinals). I am quite sure your angel is thinking of you too. I've always felt I have a guardian angel who has kept me safe all my life. I love this tiny little angel, and of course the blue is a perfect color for the theme. Love the layout as well. TFS & Hugs
