Angles, Angels, and Aqua

It's not quite November here yet but Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards challenge has begun. I love this challenge each year and I always tried to do all the challenges. Given my schedule the last few months I may not get to create as many cards as I'd like. But I'm going to get started and see where it leads me. So Beccy posted the letter "A" as the first challenge. Here's my card.

I saw a card with a frame drawn in and thought right away that A could be for angles. The angel is from a very old Stampin' Up set called On Angels Wings. I fussy cut the image after coloring with Spectrum Noir markers. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday Christ is Born. I am entering these challenges:
The twins were here for Halloween this evening. We all had dinner and then they trick or treated for the first time. I thought I'd share their picture in their costumes.

Valerie was a unicorn princess and Arthur was Batman. They had a ball and wanted to eat every piece of candy they collected. But Mom said "no" so I hope they got home without eating too much. LOL! Being a grandparent is so much more fun! Thanks for stopping by. Hope you have a wonderful week! Peace and all good!

Valerie and Arthur look so cute in their costumes Donna, what an exciting evening for them! I'm sure they'll be enjoying their candy for the next few days.
You've done a fabulous job with your "A" card, the angel and angles look great. I really like the way you drew in the frame with the crossed sections at each corner. I also like the way you added the colour. Beautiful.
Cheers,
Beccy

Valerie and Arthur look adorable in their costumes! I'm sure they and you had so much fun! Ruby really got a lot of loot and seperated it into 3 buckets. One bucket to share with mommy and daddy, one bucket just for her with her favorites, one with candy she has never tried. She's very organized,LOL.
Your card is very pretty. The angel is lovely and so is the aqua.
Hugs,
Pam

Hello, Donna! So nice to see you playing in Beccy's Month of Holiday Cards! I'm not going to be posting every day like other years either. I'm aiming for 3 cards a week. If I can do more, I will. Your angel card is gorgeous - I love how you drew the frame - now I'm going to have to try this - it really sets off this card!

How fun for the twins to be trick-or-treating for the first time! They both look so cute! I remember gorging myself on those Halloween treats! Can't eat like that any more but it's probably a good thing!

Hope all is going well with you, my friend. I just returned to my blog last week after several months for the Cat Lovers Hop and I'm finding it a bit overwhelming. So nice to get caught up with you!

Have a fun day!

Beautiful card, Someone recently sent me a few stamp images of that. Going to try to make my Mom a Christmas card with it. Your grandkids are so cute, I agree it is so much more fun to be a grand parent. Happy Thanksgiving!
