My project tonight was a challenge over at Stamp TV. Gina's video this week is how to make an envelope and the challenge is to make an envelope and a matching card. While in Boston last week I took a bunch of stamped images with me to color. I normally shy away from people images because I've never been good at coloring skin tones. But skin tones were the first Copics I bought and I've been practicing. I don't have very many Copics, so the skin tones are done with Copics and everything else is done with Sharpie markers. The under tee shirt and arm band is done with purple Stickles.
The DSP is from the dollar bin at Target. It was scrapbooking paper and I always wondered why I bought it. Worked perfectly for this project. I embossed the background DSP with the Tartan Cuttlebug embossing folder.
Thanks for stopping by today. I hope that wherever you are you are safe and warm! You know what the saying in Indiana is? "Wait five minutes and the weather will change!" Well maybe not five minutes but we'll get warmer on the weekend, I hope! Take care and enjoy the end of your week!
Happy inking!
