Happy New Year! It was quite a year last year, wasn't it?! Lots of changes in the world and in our own lives. As we bid a fond farewell to one year and say hello to a new one, we thought that this challenge would be a good time to reflect that same kind of thinking in our projects.
In order to have a chance to win the prize from our wonderful guest sponsor this month, be sure to include on your card, something old and something new that you have just received in the last month. So dip into your stash and grab one of your shiny new items or toys and get busy creating. Please be sure to let us know what your new and old item(s) are. If you do follow the optional theme, be sure to add FT after your name so that we include you in the draw for the prize.
Remember, you don't need to follow the theme to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month, and have your name thrown into the year end draw for some extra digital goodies. You only need to follow the theme if you want a chance to win this month's sponsored prize of a $15.00 gift certificate from Ike's Art.
My card uses Christmas Poinsettia from Ike's Art.
The holly paper is from the Holiday Hoopla Patterned Paper Set 2.
You have a chance to win the entire set of featured papers this month for playing along from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.
I layered the designer paper with black card stock. I added some gold Stickles to the poinsettia and some red Stickels to the berries. O hope you will join us during the month of January at the12 Months of Christmas Linkup.
I am entering these challenges:
- Crafty Hazelnut Christmas: anything goes for Christmas
- Crafty Hazelnut Christmas Extra: anything goes Christmas
- Crafty Hazelnut Patterned Paper challenge: user patterned paper
Thanks for stopping by today. Happy New Year to you all!

Your card is beautiful and so eye catching! It has a photo, digital and 3 D. I set the set is retired. Yup, can always be ready for next year.
Your card is gorgeous Donna.
Love this cheery themed card, and you've got the old & new items arranged so pretty on this card. Love the ornaments border too, as well as the very lovely dp. Also like the design layout very much too. Boston will be a big change from Pensacola (is where our DD was born when Mr. was in the navy). Lots to do in Boston, so good luck to them, and it will be such fun for you when you can visit. HOpe the twins' colds are much better - so their parents can rest easier! Also wishing you a wonderful start to 2017. TFS & Hugs.
Lovely card and I really like those super papers :-) Thanks for using one of my images. It is a pleasure to Sponsor you.
The photos of the Twins are fabulous :-)
