I usually avoid color challenges. Usually I don't have the right color or they often specify what company to use. Sometimes they just have this whole list of colors that's just daunting to me and at first I thought about not doing this challenge because of the number of colors involved. But it actually wasn't as difficult as I thought it might be and I guess that's what "challenge" means, right?
So here's what I came up with. I don't think my photo editor came out with the colors quite right but here it is.
This is a
Bugaboo image but it must be a retired image because I wasn't able to find it on the site. I have it marked as CCCAlligator in my files. I colored him with Copics and die cut him with MFT Stitched Ovals. I inked the edge with Cracked Pistachio distress ink. The sentiment is from a
Gina K set called
Birthday Greetings. I die cut the flag from light green card stock from MFT Pierced Fishtail Flags. The sentiment is stamped with Memento Chocolate Chip ink using my MISTI. The background embossing folder is Cuttlebug Spots & Dots. I was hoping it looked like bubbles. I used the
Try Stampin' On Tuesday sketch.
I am entering these challenges:
Well, I'd better get a move on. I am off to babysit the twins. They both have colds and are very stuffy and fussy. But I'll do what I can to make them smile. Have an awesome week!
