Christmas Set

Happy Sunday! Hope your weekend was marvelous. We spent most of the weekend at Baby Creek with Tom’s parents who were visiting. Friday night we took them to see Halloween with Dennis James at the IU Auditorium. If you don’t know anything about Dennis James, he’s an amazing organist who comes to Bloomington at Halloween every year and plays organ for a silent movie. This year the movie was Faust and he had a guest accompanist who played electronic percussion. It was amazing! People come in costume and it’s always such fun!

A couple days ago I shared two Christmas cards I made for my mother-in-law because she wanted me to make her cards this year. So the card I am sharing today is the card she finally picked. And I had her help me this weekend make her cards.

The image is a stamp by Stamps Happen, Inc. colored with Copic markers and shaded with Memento Sky Blue and Desert Sands. Purple is her favorite color and we cut a Spellbinders die from the purple card stock and then embossed with a Sizzix Swirling Ivy embossing folder and mounted it on a white card base.

I’m entering this card into these challenges:

Hope you have a wonderful start to your week. Since my office is in transition and everything is packed I took Monday off to spend with my son Dan who is in town on his way to Boston as he moves from Utah back to his original home. So I may get some crafting time tomorrow. Thanks for visiting, leave a comment and come back soon!
