Flocking to Say Thanks

I needed a quick Thank You card for my in laws who visited last weekend. They came to wish me a happy birthday and they brought me a bird seed brick, took me out to dinner and brought a chocolate pie for dessert. What's not too love there! Everything was yummy. No I didn't eat the bird seed but my feathered friends will definitely think it's yummy! So what better way to say thank you than with a flock of Doodle Pantry birdies. This is from a free stamp set called Tweet House.

I just love the image of the birds. My MIL loves purple so I had to work in purple somehow on the card. So the base, the ribbon and the rhinestones are purple. The background paper is digi paper but I forgot to write down whose paper when I printed it (so sorry!). I cut the image with Spellbinders scalloped ovals and added the little 'thank you" ticket. And I am so bad I printed that too and didn't write down from where I got that (so sorry again!). I have to start doing a better job in giving credit to those who deserve it. Because they so definitely deserve it!

So I am entering this into these challenges:

• Sentimental Sunday challenge: 3, 2, 1 plus a sentiment (3 ribbons, 2 rhinestones and 1 image plus the sentiment)
• Oozak challenge: use die cuts

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday. I looked at the calendar and discovered I had meetings on top of meetings tomorrow. Straight through the day from 8:15 am to 3:30pm. I will be so ready to craft and unwind when I get home. I feel like I might be coming down with something but I just can't put my finger on the problem yet. The last time that happened I wound up in the hospital having an appendectomy. At least I know that won't happen again. LOL! Have a wonderful Friday! Thanks for stopping.
