I took today off and got a bunch of creating done that I will be sharing all week long. I had lots of time to worry about all those people in the way of the storm and my son who will start driving toward Boston tomorrow morning. He's planning a more northern route to stay away from the snow. Our weather today was sunny but very windy. We had sustained winds of 40 mph and gusts up to 45 mph. That's nothing compared to hurricane. So as I worried for the East Coasters and the storm, we had a freak electric outage for several hours tonight. But we are back up and running. If you are in the path of the storm please stay safe and know that you are all in my prayers.
On to some projects from today. I usually do some treats for my co-workers and I finally finished those. I got the idea from
Dawn's Stamping Thoughts. She uses a Stampin' Up! scoring board so I had to re-figure the scoring for a Scor-Pal. But they were fun and easy to make and decorate.
I used Halloween colored card stock and some scraps of Halloween paper and then added the Halloween images.

Adorable treat holders!!! I need to check out the tutorial!!!! Love your card too! Nice and bright! Love that cute banner wrapping around the pumpkin! The wind has been crazy here too!!! Like you said, nothing like they are getting in the NE but we don't usually have wind....

your post started my day off with a big smile. Gosh....love all your projects....you did a wonderful job with just the day off and without electricity for a few hours.....Miss Speedy! I looked at TLC for this darling pumpkin but couldn't find. I'll write you to see if you may remember the exact title. I'm off to another re-certification class for teaching for the next 3 days. Wish I could find your energy to get some cards made. Again....LOVE LOVE your card and those candy treat projects...fantastic.
