I am so excited that Doodle Pantry is sponsoring a color challenge at Operation Write Home. The colors to use are black and white and then a pop of color of red or green. That shouted Christmas at me so my card is a Christmas card.
I used the Doodle Pantry image called Holly Stag. I used green as my pop of color. If you can make out the green backgrounds they are scored to give the card texture. The larger green background is scored vertically and the closer green background is scored as a cross-hatch pattern. I added the black leaf-punched border and the three white roses as embellishments. If you know anything about OWH you know this card isn't a very good card to send for the service personnel to send home because of the bulk so I'll be sending this card as an Any Hero card. I'll write a message to one of the heroes and send it with the rest of my cards.
I hope you will join in this fun challenge. And please help support Operation Write Home.
I am entering the Sentimental Sunday challenge with this card: black, white and another color.
