Woo hoo! The first of the month means another new release
from Doodle Pantry. As usual Laurie has knocked it out of the ball park with
this release! I used two of the new sets this month to make some cards. The
first set is called Football Birdie.
I picked this set because I wanted to make my son Dan a thank you for taking me
to the Colts game last weekend for my birthday.
I used the Colts symbol and added it to the birdie’s helmet;
then colored his jersey blue like the Colt’s color. I used a sentiment and background
paper from the same set, Spellbinder dies to cut the image and give it a
scalloped background, and made a football out of the sentiment. I could use a
little practice making footballs. LOL!
I am entering these challenges:
I am entering these challenges:
- Do You Stack Up challenge: use scallops
- Simon Says challenge: anything goes
My second card is made with a pre-colored image from Pumpkin Pie Ants. Just love these ants.
They are always up to something.
I used scraps of Basic Grey paper to create the diagonal
background for the sentiment which is cut from a Quick Cutz die. The image and
background for the image are cut with Spellbinder dies. This is the set that is free with purchase this month.
I am entering these challenges:
- Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge: fall theme
- Clearly iStamp challenge: fall into fall

Good Grief....they are all wonderful! I love the extra background you added to the birdie. I found ants in my kitchen last night and was freaking out, but I do love the ants at Doodle Pantry. And lastly, I love those poppies and you bet I will join the challenge to get them...lol
