Happy hump day! We are on the down side of the week. I am doing a happy dance. Not only am I closer to the weekend but I was randomly drawn at the
Outlawz Challenge site for their big September prize: a $50 gift certificate from
Oozak. I've ordered from them several times and their costumer service is fantastic! So I'm going to have to think about what I need before I shop!
Some of you may know that I used to be on the
Cuttlebug Spot design team. I've always enjoyed doing their challenges and most of the cards I make use the Cuttlebug in some way. So I was pleased to see them posting again. Their challenge this week is
What's on Your Desk? I am almost ashamed to show you my desk; it's such a mess. But here it is:
I told you it was a mess. If you look closely you can see the image and the ribbon that I used on my card tonight. I truly need to clean up and put away. Here's the card that I made from just things on my desk:
My image is from
Designed2Delight and colored with Copics. My background paper is more recycled wallpaper (I'll be using that forever because I have tons!) embossed with the distressed stripes embossing folder. I cut the image with a Spellbinders circle die and backed with another circle die. I punched the sentiment paper. The sentiment is from a Gina K stamp set called
owl always love you. I added the fall color ribbon and the brown self-adhesive rhinestones.

Cute Fall card....I love owl images. WOW WOW WOW....what a haul as a winner! Man of man....you're going shoping really soon. Yup, it's rare that I don't use my embosser at least 3 out of 5 cards.
