Fun News and CAS Challenge

Happy Sunday! What a wonderful day it is. We had some rain last night but after the fog burned off the sunshine is lovely. And I have some exciting news that I've been keeping for the last few weeks. Today I begin on the design team for DeeDee's Digital Stamps. I'm very happy about making this team. I have admired and used many of DeeDee's images especially over the past year. They are always fun and the sets usually include images, sentiments and papers that all make it easy to match for the perfect card! Tomorrow I'll showcase my first card for DeeDee. Today I have a card for the new  CAS challenge at The Outalwz.

This week we are honoring our Veterans and First Responders but making and sending them a thank you card. I made a card for a Veteran. I have two brothers and a sister, as well as a brother- and sister-in-law who served in the military (Air Force). So I am making cards for them all this year. Stay tuned, you'll see a few more very soon. The USA Heart is from Designed to Delight (now From the Heart Stamps) but the image is no longer available. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. I used Spellbinder's Picot Edge Circles to die cut the sentiment. And to finish off the card I got out my Sew Easy that I haven't used in forever and added the hearts at the top of the card. I was really happy with this one. I hope you'll make a thank you and send it to someone who has given of themselves to keep us safe. Play along with the CAS challenge at The Outlawz.
