This is a one layer card. I printed the sentiment and the pre-colored image from the Airplane set from Imagine That! Digis by Kris. And to finish it off I inked the background using a scalloped punched out circle. So easy and truly CAS! I took a picture of the inside too just to prove it was a birthday card.
I computer generated the first part of the inside sentiment and the second part and the paper airplane is also from the Airplane stamp set from Imagine That!
I am entering these challenges:
- Less is More: one layer and books or literature (The Little Airplane by Lois Lenski)
- Creative Knockouts challenge: outdoor fun

- Penny's Paper-Crafty challenge: anything goes
I hope you will join us this week and show us your planes and trains. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

What a fab card, Donna! So fun and just perfect for a birthday... your BIL will love it! Over at Less is More, our challenge is for one layer cards inspired by books or literature, so you may need to add what inspired the design to make it clear. Super card though, and happy birthday in advance to your BIL! Thanks for joining us this week :)
First thing I saw this morning was your post. Made me smile. Perfect card. I am going to buy sometime today. This is not only great for Birthday but for inspiration. My cousin is going through chemo again for breast cancer. I'm trying to send her fun, uplifting cards and this fits the bill. I have so many images and buying something right now was not schedule but I think I can't pass this up.
He-He that little guy sure IS hanging on! This is so cute, love your cloudy sky background!

This is such a lovely scene that you have created here and it was a delight to see it. On our one layer week at Less is More we do ask that there are no additional layers or matting on your cards so that the whole image is created on the base card blank. It was super to see your adorable plane though. Please do join us again xx
Hi again Donna, Thanks for your visit to my blog with the message about your card actually being on one layer. Please accept my apologies It is just that when I zoomed in on your card it really looked like the image had been matted onto red card and then the red card added to the card base. I am totally in awe of your skills with a pen (I assume that is how you added the red border). Amazing work xx
In awe of your creativity in designing this amazing scene on one layer! Those clouds: fantastic! A perfect sky for your little pilot to zoom around in! Thank you for sharing this gem in the ATSM gallery!
