Happy Anniversary

It's cold here and I haven't been able to get outside to walk much. And of course I've been over eating with the holidays; so my weight is up a bit and I need to get back to exercising more. And I am trying to get the junk out of the house. So it's back to fruits and vegetables for me this week. I am looking forward to getting back to a normal routine. I love the holidays but I do like my routine. I was supposed to retire at the end of December but they haven't found a replacement for me yet so I told them I would continue my 30 hour a week schedule for a while longer. Once they find my replacement I'll work 15 hours a week for a while to help train my replacement.
Today I made a card for my brother and SIL's anniversary.

This image is from Sandi's Samples and is the image for The Outlawz Progressive Challenge. Beautiful roses and I thought they would make a perfect anniversary card. I added the Happy Anniversary sentiment. I colored the roses with Koh-i-Noor pencils and mineral spirits. The leaves I colored with colored pencils. The background paper is a scrap from my scrap box. I love plaids. I added the four corner pieces punched from an old Stampin' Up! punch and three self-adhesive pearls to finish off the card.
I am entering these challenges:

Thanks for stopping by tonight. Make it an amazing week as we begin the new year. Wishing you a happy, healthy and crafty 2016!

Donna

Your roses are wonderfully elegant; so pretty and such a refreshing sight to see in the midst of the cold, snowy, gloomy weather we're having where I live! Thank you for sharing your artistry at Cupcake Inspirations!
