I don't use black often but I like this one. I have some animal print paper that I used in the background. I colored the cow with Bic markers and die cut with Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banners. I added some twine from Paper Sweeties. The image and sentiment are from DeeDee's Cow Are You? stamp set. I used the sketch from Scrapbook & Cards Today from World Card Making Day challenge:
For DeeDee's challenge I used Row #2: Use ribbon/twine; mail your card right away to someone who needs encouragement (this card is going to my Aunt Ethel as soon as the letter gets written. I send her a card each month just to let her know I am thinking of her. She is 92.); hand color your image.
I am entering these challenges:
- DeeDee's Pick Your Pal Challenge: Row #2
- Scrapbook and Cards challenge: sketch
- Through the Craft Room Door: anything goes
- Hiding in my Craft Room: monochromatic
Hope your week is off to a great start. I hope to get more cards made today but I need to walk to the store too. Take care!

Another super cute card, Donna! I don't use black often, either, but it really looks great on your card. I love the little details on this, like the faux stitching on the die piece, and the way you applied the twine. Just adorable! Thanks again for playing along in our WCMD challenge. I am keeping you and your hubby in prayer! It sounds like retirement will be just the right thing for both of you!
hank you so much for entering our ATG challenge at Through The Craft Room Door this week. Looking forward to see you again next challenge.

I love your card- looks great in black with that touch of oink on the utter! Your Aunt will get a kick out of the sentiment!
I love this! The background paper couldn't be more perfect. Love how you did the twine horizontal and that added pink on the bottom is the perfect touch.
Thanks for playing in our WCMD challenge! Don't forget to join our Digi of the Month Challenge.
