Squigglefly Challenge

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope your week has gotten off to a roaring start! Last night I worked on a challenge for the Squigglefly group at Card Universe. The challenge was to use yellow as your main color and make something pop up off your card. So I made two baby cards. Whenever I make baby cards I try to make one of each that way I'm prepared no matter what the baby turns out to be LOL! Be prepared! Must be the Girl Scout in me.

So I took these images from the Baby set at Squigglefly. Everything is colored with Sharpie markers and I've pop dotted all the items on the stacked blocks and the blocks that spell BOY. It's a CAS card!

For the girl card I did the same thing with coloring and pop dotting, but I added a Cuttlebug embossed background paper so the yellow is not quite so evident on this card. But another clean and simple card to make. Check out Squigglefly. They have some great digital images and adding more all the time.

Thanks for stopping by today to read my short little post. Hope you have a wonderful week!

Happy inking,

Donna, these are both just adorable! I'm super impressed with how you cut out the image on the blocks rather than just popping up the whole block! It really adds a lot of interest to the over all look! I'm so glad you played along this week!
