Good evening to you! It's definitely fall in the air here in Indiana but they are telling us it might warm up a bit this week. Wouldn't that be wonderful! We've had our wood-burning stove going most of the weekend. But with fall in the air I used that to design my card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge #23. To be honest I almost skipped doing this challenge because I wasn't crazy about the sketch, but after I debated, I figured it wouldn't be a challenge if I really liked the sketch so I should give it a try. So here's my card, which I like better than I thought I would. LOL!
I embossed the background using one of my new Cuttlebug folders. I found the list but still haven't written the names on them. I used the Colluzzle to cut the ovals and some punches for the leaves. I sponged the edges around the image. I added 4 little rhinestomes to each background color of card stock.
You'll want to visit Midnight Madness quickly to join in with the sketch challenge but also because they have a blog hop going on with lots of chances to win prizes. Hurry the blog hop ends Tuesday evening at midnight. Mwah haha!
That's it for me today. I did finish a few more things But I'll have to show them to you throughout the week. It's a busy week this week so I'll spread things out a bit. Have a super fantastic start to your week and stop back soon!
Happy inking,

Hello Donna - you made me laugh - I have lost count of the times I nearly didn't do a challenge because I didn't like the sketch - they have often turned out to be the ones I love the most - funny that! Glad you played, you did such a lovely job! Love those leaves and the colours! Thank you for playing along with us at Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge this week. I look forward to seeing what you do next week. All the best with the Blog Hop!

Hi Donna, well I have to say, I am so glad you went for it, because your card came out GREAT!! I know it is hard to get inspiration from sketches if you do not like them at first, but then the sketch and the creation just kind of find their way and in this case it found it's way JUST FINE :) Thank you for sticking it out I am really happy you played with us this week. Thank you
