I used Simon Says Single Roses Die for this card. I cut the flower out in several shades of blue. The sentiment is from Simon Says Flower Friends (I don't see it in their store so it must be retired). To finish it off I used a few of my blue sequins. I used the CAS(E) this Sketch for inspiration.
I am entering these challenges:
- CAS(E) this Sketch: sketch
- Simon Says Wednesday: fabulous florals
- Penny's Paper-Crafty challenge: anything goes
I hope you will come play along at the CAS challenge at the Outlawz this week. Thanks for stopping by today as we wind down the weekend. Time is really flying by these days. I wish you a wonderful week ahead with crafty time to spare!

Seeing this scribby rose on so many blogs, and don't think I've seen it used any prettier than how you've used it here. It makes a real statement with the replication you've done in the design, and what nice shades of blue you've chosen. The sequins (which I never know how to use to best effect) really sparkle. Glad you had a nice time away, and back to the a/conditioning again. TFS & Hugs
Oh, this is so pretty and fun! Wonderful take on the sketch!
I really, really like this card! You did a wonderful job creating it. It is simple yet striking!

I love this cool card- such a great design! Your sequins are such a nice addition! It is so nice to get into the air after being out in the heat : )
Great take on the sketch and lovely choice of colours.
