Both of these cards were super easy and very fast to make. The background is a scrap of Basic Grey paper. The border is from my new Spellbinders Classic Triple Scallop border. I used two of the three borders on this one. Matted the image on another scrap still laying on my desk from the pinwheels from yesterday and rounded the corners. Super fast and easy. I am entering this card into the CAS-ual Friday challenge: 10 minute craft dash!
The second card uses the same image but I gave it a vintage look.
The background paper is a scrap that I repurposed from another card. I backed that with a black border on a white card base. I used the same Spellbinders Classic Triple Scallop border but I used the third border on this one. I distressed the edges of the image and the edges of the black card stock backing. I am not very good at vintage and this is about as good as it gets when it comes to vintage. LOL! I am entering this card into these challenges:
- Hiding in my Craft Room challenge: free style
- Through the Craft Room Door challenge: anything goes
- Simon Says challenge: something new (using my new Spellbinder's Triple Scallop dies)
- Outlawz Monday challenge: vintage

amazing how papers change the look of the card. these are both stunning.

HAPPY NEW YEAR. i know 2013 will be tons of fun for us.

You are spot on with your darling cards and being versatile with using the image several times. It saves time and keeps you juices flowing all the time. I just finished 3 cards with the vintage telephone I'm going to post tomorrow but one being manly and the other feminine. You know how I love my Doodle Pantry images. And, this is special because it was a gift...haha
Awww, super cute cards! Great job with the dash! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at CAS-ual Fridays!
Two wonderful cards using the mouse image, same design yet looks quite different. And fast and easy you say, what more can one want:O)
Oh my goodness, these are both perfect for the Dash challenge! Love that dancing mouse image. So glad you joined us at CAS-ual Fridays this week:)
