Leaving on a Jet Plane

Good evening everyone! Before I take flight (this is spring break week) I wanted to leave you with a few cards I made over the weekend. Heading for Florida to celebrate my father-in-law's 80th birthday. So unfortunately there won't be much crafting for me this week. I am going to take along a cross stitch project and some images to color so maybe when I get back I can whip something up quickly!

This project was for a color challenge at Stamp TV. the colors were wine, yellow and kraft. I used the stamp sets A Year of Flowers (images) and Arranged with Love (sentiment) both by Melanie Muenchinger. Just a pretty straight forward card. The background paper is Basic Grey.


My next card is for the sketch challenge on Stamp TV. The image is a digital image from Digital Delights by Looby Lou. They have the cutest digital stamps and fun challenges. They also have a call out for new design team members. This cute little fellow is Sweetie Pea and I thought he'd make the cutest baby card. I made a button with the sentiment which comes from Wee Tees by Melanie Muenchinger (do you see a pattern here?) I just had to make something with Sweetie when I got him.

So there you have it. I'll be gone until next Monday soaking up some sun, I hope, because it's sure been gloomy around here. I expect that will change as soon as we board the plane. He,he,he! As long as it's not raining in the Keys (too much!) See ya'll next week and maybe I'll have a few vacation pics to share.
