But here's is one of my latest cards. The image and sentiment is from a set called Timeless Treasures by Theresa Momber. I used Nantucket Post-It Adhesive Craft Paper that I won from the Cuttlebug Spot. I scored the background diagonally to form the diamonds and then lightly sanded the diamonds to bring out the core. I used Nestabilities to cut out the sentiment and image and then inked around the shape and the edges. I stamped the image twice and popped up the image on the card. Added some ribbon and a flower and there you have it.
This card is for several challenges:
- The Cuttlebug Spot: this week's challenge to is create something vintage. I thought the image and the sanded background gave this card a vintage look.
- Little Paper Shop: challenge #58 is a color challenge: turquoise, white and dark purple.
- Stamp TV: Inspired 13 challenge: use your Scor-Pal to create a diamond shape background.
Also my blog candy ends on Friday. Just leave a comment at this point to win the stamp set, album and assorted other goodies. See the side bar for all the information.
I hope your week has been wonderful so far. I'm hoping for a speedy recovery for our basement because that's my stamping area. Stop back for more fun this week.
Inky hugs,
