In order to have a chance to win the prize from our wonderful guest sponsor this month, make sure that you use a combination of BOTH silver AND gold somewhere on your card. Whether you choose to use these colours in your image or your paper or choose to use silver or gold embellishments, it is completely up to you. If you do follow the optional theme, be sure to add FT after your name so that we include you in the draw for the prize.
Remember, you don't need to follow the theme to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month, and have your name thrown into the year end draw for some extra digital goodies. You only need to follow the theme if you want a chance to win this month's sponsored prize of a $15.00 gift card from Lunagirl.
And the designer paper that we used this month was from Decosse's Dynamite Doodles.
Here's my card for the silver and gold challenge:
I used the Christmas Minis 2 set and blew up one of the angel images from the set.
I used the stripe background paper from the designer paper set and die cut the Spellbinder's Picot Edge Circles out of silver paper. I added gold pearls around the die cut. I added a QuikCutz tag die with a sentiment from a retired Flourishes stamp set.
I hope you will join us this month at the 12 Months of Christmas Link Up and show us your silver and gold. But remember any Christmas card is eligible to be entered for the paper prize. Come join us!
I am entering these challenges:
- Crafty Hazelnut Christmas challenge: use a sentiment
- Crafty Hazelnut Christmas Extra: anything goes Christmas
- Crafty Hazelnut Patterned Paper challenge: use patterned paper
- Hiding in my Craft Room: holiday
- A Bit More Time to Craft: anything goes
- Scrapping4Fun: retro or vintage
Thanks for stopping and have a wonderful day!

Lovely card. Thank you for joining the challenge at A Bit More Time to Craft.
Very nice Donna! Love the die you used for the image.
It turned out wonderful from a little circle image. wow! And, I too love that song from Ives from many years past. Thank you for the little history lesson and taking me down memory lane.
Oh Donna, I just love your gorgeous Christmas card! The vintage image is so beautiful and so is the die cut! I love that you added the pretty pearls on the die cut. Great job!

This sounds like a fine challenge...I love metallics! Your card is so pretty. Love that vintage angel (I like angels pretty much as I do cardinals!). love that striped paper too and the design layout. This is one of your best cards so far I think. HOpe I can find the time to join in. Hugs L& TFS (and we always watched this show with DD when she was small. We have the DVD and sometimes Mr. will break it out, just for the memories it brings back. Ditto the Charlie Brown shows that used to air around the holidays.)

Love your Christmas card this month, Donna. I love the die-cut with which you framed your focal image, and that navy blue goes so well with the silver and gold theme at the 12 Month of Christmas Link-Up

Love the die that you used to frame that adorable image. Thank you for joining in the challenge at CHNC Extra for June.
