Who Wants Pie?

Happy Sunday! It's supposed to be sunny here. That will definitely be a welcome change after two days of heavy rain. Next weekend we have family coming to visit so I've been busy getting ready for that. But I did have time to make a pie. Over at the Outlawz CAS challenge we are making pie this week.

This is my CAS card for the pie challenge. I used a cherry stencil at the top of the card. I've had this stencil forever and I don't think I've ever used it before. I used Firebrick Red and Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. Th pie image is from Stamping with Gail. The image is colored with Copics. The card base is kraft with a layer of red. Easy peasy! I hope you can join us this week by making a pie! Hop over to the Outlawz site and check out what the rest of the design team made. They are adorable!
Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy Sunday and hope it's sunny for you!

Very cool take on the challenge. Love the shading you achieved on the cherries, Donna, The combination of stencil and image is a brilliant design.

Nice layout with the cherry's on top. Cute sentiment, that is something I need to do more of is adding more sentiments. Did you know that last (I think it was Thursday) was pie day? I did not tell everyone started talking about it's pie day???? Okay??? Good job on your CAS card.

Donna, your cherries are delicious...terrific shading with your stenciling on this one. You'd have no problem using pastes! Hope you got your sunshine...we had a beautiful Sunday and today has been just as perfect. Even bestirred myself to do a little much needed weeding & enjoyed being outside (didn't enjoy weeding however!). TFS & Hugs.
