Happy hump day! One more day in my work week this week. Tomorrow after work we'll head for Baby Creek and at 8 am on Friday morning the gravel trucks will be arriving to put gravel down on our new driveway. I will be so thrilled to have a driveway that I can get up during the winter. Tom went out tonight and came home and said that a big tree fell some time today. So maybe it's a good thing we have a three day weekend. Work ahead this weekend.
My card tonight I made for several challenges. I started by picking the image with a sketch in mind.
The image is from
Beccy's Place. The sentiment is from the
Simon Says March Stamp Kit. I found some scraps for the background designer paper that matched the colors in the image. I backed the image with Spellbinders Picot Edged Circles and embellished with pearls and blue self-adhesive gems. I added a printed ribbon.
