Happy Wednesday! The day started off bright and sunny but ended with storms and rain. We could use the rain though. It's supposed to rain more over night and I love to sleep while the rain is slapping on the roof.
This weekend we are going to visit my in laws so I won't get much time to craft. But it will be nice to visit with them again.
This summer I am again the Program Director for the Girl Scout Day Camp in June. So I'm beginning to work on examples for activities and crafts for the girls. That's what I have tonight; one of the crafts that the girls will be making.
The outside is a CD case and the girls will be decorating the inside edges with ribbon and will use a photo for the inside. We'll take pictures of each of the units and the girls can add their unit picture and then decorate the outside with buttons, beads and whatever other things we find in our boxes of excess materials we have around. I used a Doodle Pantry set called
Clown Birdie. I just love the bright colors! Hope you do too.

Hi Donna! Wow, what a fun project for the girls this summer! Take a picture of them working on it and post that too! I'm like you - I love to sleep in the rain. Hopefully it won't still be raining when you have to get up - that is hard in the morning. Great sleeping weather.

Not liking clowns myself, I am really enjoying this image and really like your card. Let me tell you how unobservant I am obviously. I didn't know there was a birdie underneath the clown make-up and you think I hone in with the title...Clown Birdie...nope not me. Feel a little stupid, but at least I'm big enough to admit it and laugh at myself...lol
PS I love the idea of covering the CD case and what a great project for the Girl Scout Day Camp.
Such a darling creation and what a great craft for your Girl Scout camp! (boy does that bring back memories...lol!) I am sure this is one craft that they will love creating!
