Glitz and Glamour

Happy Monday evening as it continues to snow here. We shoveled about 9 inches off the driveway this evening after work and it's covered over again. Our warning downgraded to an advisory but was extended until 1 pm tomorrow. It was supposed to have been over by 7pm tonight. No such luck! But my card tonight is far from white. This card is for the Clearly Inspired challenge #7. The challenge this week is to "glam it up."

I used a digital stamp from Digital Delights called Love Birds. I cut it out with a circle Nestability and backed it with a scalloped circle Nestability and added gold Stickles to each scallop. The heart-shaped sentiment is also cut from a Nestability and I embossed it with gold embossing powder. The sentiment reads "The best thing about me is you." And I added gold Stickles around the heart shape also. I added ribbon and a Martha Stewart border punch, three self-adhesive rhinestones in the corner and two buttons and a rhinestone at the bottom left corner. This was my DH's Valentine card. Check out the challenge at Clearly iStamp blog and join in the fun!

Thanks for stopping by today. Make it a great week!

Warm winter hugs!

Donna, this is such a darling card :)!!
I really love your coloring and the punched border.

I am glad my goodies have arrived. Jut yesterday I was asking hubby if he ever posted that envelope.

As for the stamp, no hurry at all. Just cut around it and keep it somewhere safe until time comes to send it back. Hubby is always so happy to collect stamps from my mail. Too bad last envelope that came from Val had a damaged stamp.

And for the CB challenge, don't try to make your faux stitching straight. You can go wonky too.
