Life's A Picnic

Welcome to the CAS challenge at the Outlawz. Today was my second post for the challenge and out theme is a really fun one. July is National Blueberry Month so the challenge is to use a fruit as your image or in your sentiment. The design team has outdone themselves with some great CAS projects. Be sure you check them out. Here's my card.

Our sponsor this month is DeeDee's Digis and you can win a $25 gift certificate. I used DeeDee's Life's A Picnic stamp set. Isn't the circular ant border fun? I popped up the ant image and the watermelon seeds. I inked the sentiment with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. Most of the pieces are from my scrap box.
I am entering these challenges:

I hope you'll come and join us for our fruit themed challenge. And maybe enjoy a fruity snack while you are crafting. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!

this is super cute.

my 1st marriage honeymoon was at atlantic city - BEFORE CASINOS! yep. no such thing as casinos back in 1968. it was all beach and concessions. tons of fun. spent many a weekend there. spent time there when the casinos came in too. it was only about 2 hrs away from where i lived. tons of fun.

loved DC but hated driving around. everything is in a circle. but if you get to the "mall", you'll love it. i did. one of the best vacations i ever spent was in DC with my girlfriend. was really expensive too. cost more than my 8 days cruise to mexico. go figure.

anyway, heat wave here at home. heat index above 100, so you picked a good time to be away. have fun and stay safe.

hugs :)
