Today is a new CAS challenge at the Outlawz. The challenge this week is to create a card for your mother or someone you regard as your mother. If she is no longer on this earth playing with the angels, one to remember her by. We lost my mother-in-law over this past Christmas. My Mom has been gone since 2006 but I chose to make a card that I think she would have liked.
My mother was a huge flower lover. Her gardens were absolutely beautiful so I made a flower card for her. And I am thinking of her today. The image and sentiment are from DeeDee's Digis called Rose Regards. I used the pre-colored image, copied it three times and popped up pieces of the flower to give it texture. I used a Stampin' Up! punch to make the corner pieces.
I am entering these challenges:
- CAS on Sunday: cheer up buttercup
- Stamping Boutique: dies or punches
- Simon Says: let's get sentimental
- Papertake Weekly: anything goes
Our sponsor this month for the CAS challenge is Through the Craft Room Door. Winner will receive a free 1 year subscription. What a great prize. I hope you will share a card for your mother this week. Thanks for stopping by and visiting today. Have a wonderful start to your week!

Beautiful and love the dimension. I lost my mom in 1992. My mom loved flowers too. You did a beautiful job in her memory.
