Two More Cards

This is my second post today. Scroll down for a green creation for St. Patty's Day! I had lots of time to create today so several more things to share. First up another Christmas card.

This is the second Christmas image to use in Lady Anne's progressive Christmas challenge. To me this is kind of a non-traditional image for Christmas so I used non-traditional colors. The image is colored with Copic markers. I punched the star from a cereal box to make a chipboard star, paper pieced it with some designer paper (not just card stock) and popped it up with pop dots. Then stamped the sentiment directly to the card base. The sentiment is from Little Paper Shop which seems to have closed and the image is from Stamp n Doodle. I embellished with Gold Stickles.
I am entering this card in these challenges:
My second card is a birthday card. I don't usually use orange in cards often but the brown and orange seemed natural for this one.
This is a CAS card and I used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch. I used Spellbinder's Splendid Circles in orange card stock and then sponged with chocolate chip Memento ink. The image is from Clear Dollar Stamps called Hoot Hoots Digital Image. The sentiment is also from the Hoot Hoots set. I cut the banner and sponged it with Pumpkin Spice ink by Stampin' Up! I really like this one!
I am entering this card into:
Thanks so much for stopping by, maybe even twice today. LOL! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead!

You have quite the array of cards this morning. I love them all and always enjoy non traditional Christmas cards. I also love little owls. I don't work with orange much either but your card is darling and the shading makes him look like he's glowing....haha. I want to know how you punched a cereal box. My punches can't handle something that thick...haha

I love the depth the sponging gives that orange die cut - I would never have thought of that. And of course the adorable owl! Thanks so much for playing along with CAS(E) This Sketch this week!

Two fun cards! That little ballerina is very cute and you're right, it does seem non-traditional so I like your non-traditional color scheme. Thanks for playing with CSAYL.
