VCMP Challenges #2 and #3

I combined the second and third VCMP challenge and just made one card. The second challenge is at Deliteful Gifts and asks you to make a kid's card with a critter on it. The third challenge is at BunnyScrap and challenges everyone to selectively emboss parts of your card. So I combined the two challenges and came up with this card.

I may have to hold on to this card for a while since winter cards are over for Operation Write Home. But I love this Doodle Pantry image called Quirky Polar Bear. I used the pre-colored image. I used the snowflake embossing folder with a shim that did not emboss and rounded area in the middle behind my little polar bear. The sentiment I cut out and then edged the sides with a scalloped scissors. That's a bit hard to tell from the picture. I just really like how this turned out.
