Deepest Sympathy

Just a quick post tonight. I am really tired from being outside all day in the cold unloading Girl Scout cookies. Really took me a long time to warm up after I got home and I am really tired tonight. So here's the card I made last night.

At the beginning of the year I wanted to make some sympathy cards so that I had them on hand when needed. I needed several at the end of the year and I never had them ready. So this is a very simple card. The butterflies are a piece of scrap designer paper. I added faux stitching along the edges. The image and sentiment is from a Gina K set called Spring Florals. I embossed the sentiment in gold. I am entering these challenges:

Hope your week is off to a great start. Thanks for stopping by. Love your comments. I'd appreciate it if you'd leave on for me!

very pretty. this may sound weird, but i like making sympathy cards. only because i get to use my flowers and butterflies. lately, i've been trying to not put any sentiment on my cards so i can just "grab and send". it's not easy being that creative - LOL.

i found some washi tape at crafty steals. they were offering a 3 pack for $5.49. deciding which ones WAS the hard part. i settled on black, red and pink as they're the 3 colors i seem to use most.

yeah, warming up here too. supposed to be in the 40s by the weekend. i'll take it.

hugs :)

Donna - this is bright and beautiful. A nice contrast to the typically dark sympathy card. Thanks for playing along with The Paper Players this week.

This is just lovely Donna! I think the simplier the better when it comes to sympathy cards so these are perfect!
