Cheers to Melanie Muenchinger!

My first creation of 2010 was to celebrate Melanie! This weekend Melanie Muenchinger is celebrating 2 years of illustrating and 25 stamp sets. Isn't that incredible?! Melanie is so talented. Check our her stamp sets. One of my favorite sets is called Wee Tees. My card uses this stamp set illustrated by Melanie!

I used up some paper scraps to make the background (it isn't actually a resolution for this year because I'm always looking for ways to use scraps). In order to give it the quilt look I added faux stitching using silver and gold gel pens. The image is colored with colored pencils and I added Baby Blue Stickles to the onesie. Just too cute!

Check out Melanie's blog, Hands, Head and Heart, and comment to win one of a bunch of prizes. If you have one of Melanie's sets play along and make your own creation for another chance to win. (I'm hoping that she pulls my name.)

This card was also made for the Clearly iStamp blog challenge. This week's challenge was bradilicious! I used brads in the four corners of the quilt background, baby blue of course! Check out their easy to do challenge this week and get started on your creative ideas for 2010!

Happy 2010 to you all! Hope you have a safe, happy, healthy, and creative new year! Stop back again soon and see what else I've been up to.

Warm winter hugs,
