Happy November 1st. I am so excited for the Doodle Pantry release day today. I just love all the new sets that Laurie has this month. I only had a chance to play with one set but stay tuned later in the month because I am working on a wonderful project that I am very excited about that will use a bunch of the new sets as well as some of the older sets.
I just couldn’t resist volunteering to use this new stamp set called Jail Birdie. It’s just so adorable!
I colored my jail bird with Copic markers. The sentiment and the heart background paper also come with the set. My card base is black card stock. I cut the sentiment into a pennant. I added three hearts and three pearls as embellishments. I used faux stitching around the hearts and sponged the sides of the pennant with red ink. I'm sending this card to Operation Write Home. The Valentine deadline is December 31st so I have plenty of time to make more of these. I just love the sentiment! What do you think?
I am entering these challenges:
Crazy 4 challenge: sketch
Paper Makeup Stamps challenge: lots of layers
Don’t forget to check out the new Doodle Pantry challenge #29 after noon today. You won’t want to miss your chance to get a free set. This month the free set is Holiday Cactus. Last month we had the Autumn Star and this one is just as wonderful! Don't miss out. Thanks for stopping by. I sure hope your November is off to a good start.
