Give Thanks

This is a busy week for me. Today I spent a lot of time getting errands and jobs done at home. Tomorrow I'm taking a trip to Indianapolis to take my daughter and son-in-law to Riley Hospital. My unborn grandson has lots of medical complications. Tomorrow we tour the neonatal unit and meet the surgeons who will perform emergency surgery on our little Alexander. If you can keep good thoughts or prayers for Alex, we would so appreciate it. I am back to work on Wednesday. I did have a little time to play today

The sketch I used is from I {heart}Card Sketches with a Twist. This week the twist is lots of white and add color with your embellishments. I think I tried to do the sketch and the twist.

The image is From the Heart Stamps called Cornucopia. I colored the image with Copic markers and die cut the image with Spellbinder's Splendid Rectangles. I inked the edge with Spiced Marmalade Disttress Ink. The sentiment I embossed weeks ago and it was sitting on my desk so I decided to use that and pop it up from the card. I embellished with some brown self-adhesive rhinestones. I am entering these challenges:

I hope your week is off to a great start. Thank you for stopping by. If you can send up a special prayer for my little grandson Alex, I would so appreciate it!

Donna

Ah this is super, hope that all went well at the hospital. It can be so overwhelming in the Neonatal unit when you visit. I used to work in one and all the machinery looks scary. Hoping That Little Alexander is ok after his battles xx Thank You for playing on Catch the Bug this week, Hazel (didos) Guest DT x

First - prayers for Alexander & his Mommy (and all the rest of you). I'm sure all of this is very scary at what should be an exciting happy time. So God be with all of you. Courage & Faith. Love cornucopias, and this one is presented so prettily with the fall colored frame. I love it! TFS & Big hugs to you & your family.
