Santa is Coming to Town

I know it's February. We had more snow this morning and I had this thought that I hadn't made any Christmas cards recently. I have to get a move on if I want enough by the time Christmas rolls around. So I thought it was time to start on Christmas.

The vintage Santa is an image from The Graphics Fairy.I printed it and fussy cut it. The background paper is a scrap from my box. The die cut is Spellbinders Scalloped Squares. I heat embossed the sentiment from Gina K. Then added some sequins and pearls. I used the Tuesday Morning Sketch for the design.

I am entering these challenges:

Thanks for stopping by. Happy almost weekend! One more day of work. Not much time to craft this weekend because we are visiting Tom's Dad this weekend. Hope you have a wonderful, relaxing and hopefully crafty time!

Hi Donna, thanks for joining in at Rudolph Day #2 with this oh-so-cute Santa. He's very striking with the red hat against that pretty blue S/B die and love the way the background polka dot paper brings in both the red & blue of your color scheme. Just became your newest follower, and hope you'll find time to visit me sometime as well. Good luck with the snow & hope spring soon arrives in your part of the States. We had snow & ice yesterday in Upstate S.Carolina, but today it was sunny & 60F. All the white has melted. Lovely to have some warm again. TFS

What a beautiful vintage Santa. Brought back memories. Super coloring. At this rate you will definitely have enough Christmas cards to send out!

Gorgeous card. Love the pop of blue behind the vintage santa image, which I love. Off to check it out. I think you have enabled me to do some shopping!

o i like this one! definitely put a smile on my face. such a happy card!!!

we got barely a dusting and the sun came out and no wind. turned out to be a great day. tomorrow (tues. 3.3) supposed to get freezing rain. i sure hope not as i really want to go to food pantry. maybe, just maybe this will be the last of it. yeah right! who am i kidding. spring is 3 wks away but does that even matter anymore? LOL. at least we'll get more daylight with turning the clocks ahead next weekend... another "tradition" i wish they'd get rid of!

have a great week.

hugs :)

Love the Santa image- and the sketch works great for this image too! I am so not in the mood to make Christmas cards! Have safe travels this weekend. We are headed to Cinci/Ky this weekend- hope it is a little warmer there than here!
