Sharing your Grief

Sympathy cards are not my favorite cards to make. And I always say that I will make some ahead of time but rarely do. So I needed one today so that's my card tonight.

The image is from Beccy's Place cut with Spellbinder's rectangle dies. The sentiment is embossed with black Superfine embossing powder and is from the Sympathy Heartfelt Creations stamp set. I embossed the background card stock with the Victoria embossing folder.

I am entering this card into these challenges:
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope your week is going well. I have an interview for a new job on Thursday and tomorrow we see the HR person about retiring. Do I retire or do I move to a new job? Decisions! Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I love the sympathy card. I hear you loud and clear. You took the words right out of my mouth. It's so hard to do a card when it just happens. Today I'm posting a doggie sympathy card for my sister. I was blubbering all the way through it. Today a friend's 20 year old son was killed in an auto accident....don't know how I am going to get this one done. You did a wonderful job.

Beautifully done- the colors are gorgeous- love the embossing too. Unfortunately, I am needing a few of these cards lately as well.

Your card is lovely Donna, I think you chose very pretty colours. The embossed background looks wonderful behind the image and the sentiment is so nice. Sympathy cards are not my favourites either, but they are such a lovely way to let people know you're thinking of them.
Cheers,
Beccy
