Thank You Poinsettia

Happy Wednesday! I haven't had a lot of crafting time this week. I am trying to get caught up with other activities that I let slide over the holidays. So today I went back to Head Start to play with the kids. Two new kids in the class so a couple new little ones to play with. After that I took my daughter to the grocery store and then back to pick up the twins from Head Start. I am doing that all week since their dad is working day shift all week. Tomorrow morning I am cashiering at Opportunity House all morning and then need to do some shopping after that. Friday is free except for twin pick up so hopefully Friday I might get some crafting time. Here's one CAS thank you card for Christmas.

The poinsettia image is from Pattie's Creations. I colored the image with Copic markers and added Ruby Slippers Stickles to the poinsettia flowers. The thank you is a die cut from AlteNew. I used a marker to faux stitch the thank you die cut. Very simple.
I am entering these challenges:

I am about to call it a day! It's been a busy one and another full day tomorrow. Hope your week is going well. The weekend is one it's way. Praying for all those in the east who are expecting the hugs snow storm. My boys are in Boston and they are hunkering down for the storm. Thanks for stopping by!

love the card!

this weather SUCKS! but then it beats blizzards & sleet. the sun has been shining and that super moon lights up my yard so i don't have to turn my back porch light on when puppy goes out in the dark. now THAT'S a blessing.

how fun helping at Head Start! i wish we had a soup kitchen nearby where i could volunteer at, but the closest one is 40 miles away and i won't even go 4 miles in this weather.

have a great weekend. stay warm!

hugs :)

Donna, there is nothing "quiet" about this card. ;) I love the bright bold colors! WOW! Really cheerful, and will surely bring a huge smile to whoever receives it!

What an elegant and wonderful card! I really like how you combined a poinsettia with a "thank you" sentiment. It makes the card both original and perfect for the season. Really beautiful coloring, too. Thanks for sharing your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
