Life is a Beach

Happy Friday! I know I've been MIA this week. Between getting ready for Girl Scout Day Camp and doing a few design team projects ahead of time I haven't had time to do other kinds of cards or projects. But I have a few coming this weekend for design teams so stay tuned. Today I have a team project for Bugaboo Stamps Friday Freebie. You can check out what all the design team did for this adorable Friday freebie image over at Catch the Bug challenge blog. Here's my card.

The image is Johnny Surf. He definitely looks like he's out for a good time this summer. The sky is done with Salty Ocean and Broken China distress ink. The sand is Vintage Photo, Tea Dye, Rusty Hinge and desert Sand inks. Johnny Surf is colored with Copics. The image panel is die cut with Gina Marie Designs Cross Stitched Rectangles. The sun is Spellbinder's Sunny Days stamp and die stamped with Scattered Straw distress ink. The plaid background paper is a scrap from my scrap box. The sentiment is from Create with TLC.
I am entering these challenges:

Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to pick up your Friday Freebie at Bugaboo Stamps
Have an awesome Friday!

Hope all is going well with the camp project. Cute card and fun free! My son is at beach now enjoying a few fun days and hoping to find a job when he returns home.

This card is so cute, and I love how you colored it! I lived Most of my life in Florida and saw many a surfer-dude on Cocoa Beach.
