Washi Tape Flowers

Just a quick post tonight. Ha! It past my bedtime. I had this card sticking in my head this week. I saw something similar in Catherine Pooler's newsletter. So I thought I would try it.

I added  washi tape to the card base and cut the flowers with Spellbinder dies from an 4 by 5 and 1/4 piece of glossy card stock. I sponged the edges with purple ink and added the banner.  The sentiment is from a Gina K Birthday Greetings stamp set. I used some self-adhesive rhinestones for the center of the flowers. Really easy and fun to do. Hope you like it! I'm entering this card into Simon Says Stamp & Show challenge. Their theme is celebrate.
Thanks for stopping by. Tomorrow is my favorite day! And 5pm on Friday is my favorite time of the week. Have a super weekend.

This is really pretty, Donna. Love the choice of Washi tape and how you did the cuts to have it show through.

How fun is this! I love Washi peeking thru the die and the jewels in the centers! So sweet!

Darling darling darling....how did you punch the flower so far in? Or, did you use a cutting machine? LOVE the card!
