Spring Birthday

Our weather took a little turn for the better today. It warmed up slightly and we did have sunshine. I am hopeful that tomorrow will be even warmer. Easter is supposed to be in the 50s but rain. I needed a birthday card this evening so I used my Simon Says March Kit.

I used the stamp set to create some flowers. I wanted to use one of the sentiments from the set but I couldn't get them to stamp cleanly so this sentiment is from Birthday Greetings from Gina K. The base cardstock and patterned paper are from the kit.

I am entering these challenges:
Tomorrow is Friday; my last day at my current job. Monday I start my new job. I'll be sad to leave my current co-workers but happy to take on a new challenge. Have a wonderful Friday.

Very pretty card- I have never tried to make cards from a kit- but how great to have everything that coordinates! I had to work today, so missed the nice day- oh well, it will be Spring soon.....
I thought at first you were going to say you are retiring..... I hope you will enjoy your new job!

This really caught my eye and is soooo cheery with the chosen colors....understand about the rainy day ahead for Easter. Bummer when stamps don't come out clean and you paid for them.
