Luck of the Irish

Happy Saint Patrick's Day to everyone! I really haven't died although sometimes in the past week and a half I've wanted to do that. First the flu and then an upper respiratory infection. Today is the first day I felt like I could get something accomplished and it turned out to be mostly neglected housework. I still have a cough and haven't regained my full voice yet but I'm feeling much better today. I actually slept most of the night without a coughing fit. Hoping for the same tonight since I have to get up at 5:30 am to take DD to work.
So as luck would have it, I am still making St. Patrick's Day cards that I will be sending belated since today is the day. Haha! This one I'm sending out to my aunt in the morning.

The image is from Doodle Pantry called Clover Patch Ants and the sentiment is from the same set. I used some retired Stampin' Up! paper for the background and a dark green base. Lots of Spellbinders: Scalloped circle, ovals and scalloped ovals and then cut the sentiment into a flag. Very easy! I'm still trying to get my mtoivatin back after being sick so long. I'm hoping tomorrow is the day!
Entering this into a couple of challenges:
There you have it for today. Hope you had a green beer or corn beef and cabbage or a little green tea. However you celebrated St. Patty's Day I hope it was a good one.

Hugs,
Donna

Very cute card, especially for being under the weather. Hope you mend completely really soon. (I had that whole thing in January - not fun).

Well it's a pretty darn cute little Irish card for someone who has been so sick and still a little under the weather. So glad you are "sorta" back up and running. OK...you may not be running, but you are back up!

fabulous card! i envy anyone who can make pretty SHAPED cards or SEW - neither of which i can do.

ugh. if neglected housework was all that was waiting for feeling better, i'd stay sick - LOL.

glad to hear you're feeling better anyway.

hugs :)

Nice card Donna! I have never had the guts to try a round card but maybe someday I will get ambitious and give it a go!

So glad to hear you are on the mend - being sick is never fun.

I did have some Green Tea for St. Patty's Day, too!
