Glitzy Glitter

Welcome back and happy Monday. I just want to share another project that we did this weekend at Joan's Garden workshop. I'd never seen this technique before but Margaret Van Duyn drove from Illinois to show us the glitter peel technique. I think you'll agree that the results are amazing!

This is the entire card. We used lots of die cuts and I actually broke my Cuttlebug doing this card. : (  I loved my Cuttlebug and used it on almost every card I made.  So my DH said I can buy a new one. : ) I'm considering getting a Grand Calibur. If you have one let me know if you like it or not. I like that you can use full sheets of paper in it or cut more than one doe at a time. But back to my card.

In this picture you can really see the gorgeous glitter and sparkle of the image. And the technique was so easy. You  just peel the outline off the sticker sheet, burnish in the glitter and then color with Copics. So easy and so pretty. I have one more pic that shows the card open.
I just love the technique and I can't wait to try this again!

On another note, I got an email today that I have a conference with my boss tomorrow. I assume that it's finally my turn to be reassigned. There are 5 of us who have conferences tomorrow so I am hoping by this time tomorrow I will know my fate. The waiting is the worst. So keep me in your prayers and hope that I have a job. Hehe! I don't think I have to worry about that. It's just a matter of where they will place me.
Hope you had a wonderful start to your week. I am headed to bed because tomorrow will be here before you know. Have a great Tuesday!
